Hyde students made a lot of achievements this school year.
Hyde Middle School won the third place in Northwestern Santa Clara Valley MATHCOUNTS Chapter, advancing to the State competition. The team earned the 10th place in the State competition.

Skylar from Hyde Middle School won Award of Merit in the 2025-2026 PTA Reflections Art Program in the visual arts category at CA state level (also 1st place at District level). Aadhya’s poem won Award of Merit in the CFSC(Cupertino Fremont Sunnyvale) level. Krishna’s music won Award of Participation at CFSC level.

April 4, 2026 Hyde Middle School Science Olympiad Team won the 5th place in Northern California State Tournament. The team won 13 medals, included 2nd place in Anatomy and Physiology, Circuit Lab, Dynamic Planet, Potions and Poisons, and 3rd place in Machines. It is the second time in history that Hyde competed in State level competition.
March 21, 2026 Hyde Middle School Science Olympiad team won the 4th place in Santa Clara County Regional Science Olympiad competition, advancing to the State competition. Hyde teams won a total of 15 medals, including 1st & 3rd place in Experiment Design, 2nd place in Potions and Poisons, and 3rd place in Circuit Lab, Codebusters, and Crime Busters.
